Plant A Tree

Together with our commercial tree planting partner, Ecologi, we have pledged to plant a tree for every property sale that goes through to completion.

Ecologi are a Bristol based business and among the largest commercial tree planting organisations in the UK, with over 48.2 million trees planted so far, the equivalent of 2.2 millions tonnes of carbon reduced each, and every year.

Steven Smith Managing Director, Chris Marney says, “we’re absolutely delighted to be able to reach this milestone. Both for the future health of our planet, our home, but also for Steven Smith now that we are in a position to be able to make this pledge and make this commitment for future generations. It’s an exciting step and we look forward to being able to plant, many, many trees in the future.”

From our Clevedon office and through Ecologi and tree planting alone we hope to offset over 20 tonnes of carbon in our first year with this figure increasing as our business continues to grow.

Planting a tree for every property sale is just one of the things we are doing to care for our planet, and is part of our overall commitment to being one of Somerset’s first carbon-neutral estate agents.
